„The relocation represents a strategic decision for the company, as Novis Plaza offers to the suppliers and partners a central location, accessible and opportune in terms of business”, declared the company’s representatives.
The office building Novis Plaza, initially known as Global Plaza, was bought by Transilvania Construcții in 2016.
Initially built as a business centre serving the industrial park Tetarom I, Global Plaza was including a hotel, conference halls, offices, retail and services spaces, but in 2011, the owner CBC Development announced its intention to reconvert the building to a hospital.
The building was never used, although it was almost completed. Two insolvency companies, Ţuca Zbârcea & Asociaţii and Solvendi, were in charge with its sale, as judicial liquidators of the former owner, CBC Development. The starting price was initially set at EUR 9.2 million, but nobody bid for it.
The building includes 14,171 square metres rentable area for offices, an atrium of 400 square metres and 300 parking places for tenants.
