German giant Infineon Technologies, a global semiconductor leader in power systems and IoT, has appointed Colliers as the project manager for its new Romanian headquarters, which will be built in the Dimitrie Pompeiu area of Bucharest by the leading real estate investor and developer One United Properties.

Forte Partners has started the process of demolishing the former Adesgo factory in the Tineretului area of Bucharest. The initiation of the project to extend the M4 metro line from Străulești to Gara de Nord, and onward to Gara CFR Progresul, promises new development prospects in southern Bucharest, according to an analysis by the real-estate consultancy company iO Partners. Authorities have applied for 2.5 billion euros in European funding through the 2021-2027 Transport Program. Additionally, the tender for the project’s planning and construction was initiated in April.
Bosch inaugurated the second office building built within the Engineering Center in Cluj, following an investment of approximately 21 million euros, over a period of three years. The total investment, started in 2017, in the two buildings of the center in Cluj amounts to over 50 million euros.
Developers finalized the construction of 83,000 sq. m of new office projects in the major regional cities (Cluj – Napoca, Timisoara, Iasi and Brasov) in 2023, as the modern office stock exceeded the 1 million sq. m threshold, representing around 30% of the corresponding total in Bucharest. Iasi is the only city which benefited from the delivery of office projects throughout 2023, as it overtook Timisoara and thus became the second – largest regional hub outside Bucharest, after Cluj-Napoca, according to the Cushman & Wakefield Echinox Office Market Regional Cities report.
