Green Court is Skanska’s first project in Romania, started a year ago. The structure and facade of the first building is already done, which means that the first phase is 80 percent complete. The project for building A will be finalized in the third quarter.
The complex will cover 52,000 square meters, distributed between three buildings with 12 upper floors and 3 underground levels. Building A provides 19,500 square meters of space and is almost completely leased.
One of the most important tenants is Orange Romania, who earlier this month announced it rented eight floors, and will begin relocating 1,500 employees to building A this fall.
Building B will offer 18,000 square meters, according to a press release from the Swedish company. The contract for the building B project is worth EUR 20 million.
Skanska “is likely” to close a land transaction by yearend as it is looking to increase its foot print on the local market, said Marcin Lapinski, the president of Skanska Property, last month. (source: business-review.eu)
