The complex, known as Mosse-Zentrum, is situated in central Berlin and was bought from RE Mosse Zentrum Sàrl, a subsidiary owned by the real estate investments vehicle  Dinu Patriciu Global Properties, according to Real IS Investment’s representatives.

 

Patriciu bought the complex as two separate units, the first being taking over in 2006 from an investor and the second in 2007 from a real estate developer. The complex has a rentable area of 38,000 sq. m according to Mediafax.

 

Over the last years, RE Mosse Zentrum has extended its lease agreements with the main tenants and signed long term leases with new companies. The tenants include the facility management company Dussmann Service Deutschland, operator for retirement homes Kursana Residenzen GmbH, the French air company Thales and the online operator Visual Meta.

The transaction is currently analyzed by the anti-cartel authority in Germany.

 

Patriciu owns real estate assets in Germany, Sweden and Poland, evaluated at approx . EUR 1.1 billion during crises. In Romania, the real estate portfolio of Dinu Patriciu includes Romana Offices, Cubic Center and Evo Center (in Pipera), Baneasa Business Center, Cascade Offices (Buzesti) or Floreasca 2 Business Center.

 

The businessman owned together with AIG/Lincoln fund the office building Lakeview in Floreasca sold last year to NEPI. Real IS Investment is member of the German group Sparkasse-Finanzgruppe, with investments exceeding EUR 8 billion. (source: wall-street.ro)
