"We concluded one of the most important rental transactions on Bucharest market. The contract, signed for 10 years was recently concluded with Vodafone for 16,000 sq. m in Bucharest One, the biggest transaction this year and one of the biggest ever on the Bucharest market ", shows a report of the fund, cited by Mediafax.
The Chinese company Huawei rented an office space of 2,500 sq. m in the building for a period of five years, therefore Bucharest One reached a pre-lease rate of 37.5%.
Vodafone currently has its headquarters in Charles de Gaulle Plaza building at the entrance in Herastrau Park, as well as two services centres in Pipera and on Avrig St. near Obor market.
The office tower developed by Papalekas will be completed in the end of December 2015 and will have 23 floors, respectively 46,000 sq. m. The investment in the project is estimated at EUR 60 million, with EUR 50-55 million representing attracted sources.
Upon its completion, Bucharest One will be the second tallest building in Bucharest. The tower’s constructor is Bog'Art.
The project is situated in Northern Bucharest. There are currently works for infrastructure improvement in the area.
The fund Globalworth owns 7 real estate projects in Bucharest, being listed on the secondary market in London, where it succeeded to attract EUR 53 million.
