The total value of the investment for these projects exceeds EUR 55 million, according to the estimations of Carmen Adamescu, CEO Unirea Shopping Center.
„We are always looking for new spaces to rent and we also find them, even if we cannot extend beyond the current structure. We will start the works for direct subway access of the commercial centre and we will thus create 1,500 sqm for new stores“, Adamescu says.
The biggest investment will be placed in Braşov, where the built area is 40,000 sqm, with half of it rentable area. The company’s plans aim to increase the built area to over 100,000 sqm.
The project will start in 2014 and will be completed in one and a half year. The company Unirea Shopping Center, operating the projects in Bucharest and Braşov, had EUR 18.5 million turnover last year. (source: zf.ro)
