The center will become operational in 2014 and will host testing laboratories, conference rooms and a showroom, spanning 1,200 square maters. The company will use equity to finance the investment.
Ileana Nicolae, general director of Sika Romania, said: “This decision came in support of our customers. They will be able to test Sika’s solutions and will receive professional counseling.”
The center is located in the vicinity of Sika’s HQ and additives plant in Brasov City. This is the second investment made by the company since the start of the year, following the acquisition of a manufacturing unit from Deutek in March. The plant, located in Cluj County, will start the production of dry mortars this autumn. (source: business-review.eu)
