The Euro zone inflation stood at 1.4 percent, while the EU rate edged up to 1.6 percent.
The lowest rates were recorded in Greece (-0.3 percent), Latvia (-0.2 percent) and Cyprus (0.2 percent), while the highest in Romania (4.4 percent), Estonia (3.6 percent) and the Netherlands (3.1 percent).
Romania’s 12 month average inflation rate, measured by the Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (HICP), was 4.3 percent.
The National Bank of Romania targets an inflation rate of 2.5 percent this year, with a variation band of 1 percent in both sides. (source: bussines-review.eu)
