Romania had in March the biggest growth in EU regarding the construction works
Romania had in March 2013, compared to February 2013, the biggest growth of the construction works in EU, 2.8%, on the background of a general EU decrease with 1.1% and of a general euro zone decrease with 1.7%, according to Eurostat.
Only four EU members registered increases in the construction works in March 2013 compared to February 2013: Romania (2.8%), Spain (2.4%), Hungary (2.0%) and Great Britain (1.7%), while 10 states registered a decrease of the construction works.
Annually, in March 2013, compared to March 2012, Romania has registered the third biggest growth of the construction works in EU (2.8%), being topped only by Spain (16.6%) and Hungary (9.9%). The volume of construction works went down in ten states and up only in four states. In euro zone, the volume decreased with 7.9% and in EU with 7.2%. (source: economica.net)
