Real estate transactions could reach EUR 400 mil. according to DTZ
Real estate transactions could increase this year to EUR 400 million, considering the interest shown by the potential investors, considers Cristian Ustinescu, the Investment Director of DTZ Echinox, as the foreign investors are more confident in the market potential than the local ones.
"The value of transactions reached EUR 110 million in the first three months, investments that basically increased with two figures percent comparing to the previous quarter. The increasing dynamic of the discussions we have with the investors leads us to estimations of EUR 400 million commercial transactions by the end of the year. ", Ustinescu has declared at the conference Talks about Constructions organized by Mediafax.
Last year real estate transactions were concluded of approx. EUR 300 million. In Ustinescu’s opinion the reorganization of the banks in Cyprus has a positive influence on the investments in Romania.
He added that the foreign investors are more confident in the local market, by citing the example of New Europe Property Investments, which has obtained EUR 60 million financing, partially for investments in Romania. (source: wall-street.ro)
