Porsche Engineering will take over 2,200 square meters of office space in the near future, with an additional 1,300 sqm to be taken over in 2020. The transaction was brokered by Coldwell Banker Transilvania, the local office of Coldwell Real Estate Banker Romania.
The new headquarters will allow Porsche Engineering Romania to grow more than three times the local team, with another increase in the number of employees expected for 2020. At the time of opening the local subsidiary in 2016, the company had seven employees in Romania.
"We will continue to develop our activity in Romania, we have already concluded several years of partnership with the higher education institutions in Cluj-Napoca and we also want to continue to attract the best engineers from Romania who want to be part of the team of the one of the most innovative companies and develop top software solutions for the automotive industry", says Marius Mihailovici, location manager of Porsche Engineering Romania.
The company is one of the four subsidiaries of Porsche Engineering Group GmbH - owned entirely by Porsche AG, located outside Germany. The subsidiary in Cluj-Napoca specializes in software development for the automotive industry and is an important part of Porsche Engineering's integrated engineering services around the world.
