In Bucharest, almost 1,100 companies entered insolvency in this period, down by half compared to the first half of 2014. Bihor county comes next with 303 insolvent companies, followed by Timis county, with 284 companies entering insolvency.

In the first six months of the year, Romania saw over 62,000 newly registered companies, 13.5% more than in the same period in 2014.
