The project was developed and financed by Brussels-based Interparking Group, which is the operator of this parking lot for a concession period of 39 years, according to a press release.

The underground car park has a capacity of 960 cars, and the renovation works included, among other, replacing the ventilation, plumbing and wiring.

The parking lot is provided with a direct route to Intercontinental and with three direct routes to the National Theatre. It also features sports for persons with disabilities, and in the near future there will be spots for electric cars. Additional services are also available: a car wash and a car service and vulcanization area.

The price for one hour of parking is RON 3.

Interparking Group, which also built the underground car park at the University Square with a capacity of 425 cars, is one of the leading parking operators in Europe, having started in 1958 in Brussels. (Source: business-review.eu)
