IBM Romania recorded a turnover of 814.5 million lei last year, up 9.4% compared to 2015. The company's net profit also grew by 10.9% to 75.4 million lei.

 The local branch of the US giant IBM had at the end of last year debt of 105.5 million lei, from 111.7 million lei in 2015, while receivables recovered increased by 8.6%, to 146.2 million Of lei. The number of company employees grew by 22.1% to 2.653.

Liberty Technology Park Cluj was inaugurated in 2013, following an investment of over 15 million Euros by Friborg Capital, owned by businessman Ion Sturza. The occupancy of the technology park is 100%, and most of the residents are IT companies.  Other tenants in the park include Siemens, Halcyon Mobile and Control Data Systems. 
Liberty Technology Park was opened in 2013 following an investment of over EUR 15 million. The project consists of 8 distinct buildings, which will be completed in 3 stages. 

Phase II of the project was completed in April 2015, D and E office buildings with a total rental surface of 11,250 sqm. With the new office buildings, the total reconstruction of the former Libertatea factory was completed. (source: profit.ro)
