COS (Corporate Office Solutions), the first fully integrated office design & build specialist in Romania, recorded in the first 6 months of 2015 an increase in turnover of 40% compared to the same period last year. The increase is justified in the context of a slow beginning of 2014 for the company, followed by an accelerated evolution, that continued throughout the first part of 2015. 

 

The turnover registered by the company in the first 6 months of 2015 is 9.12 million Euro, and the estimated result by the end of the year is 18 million Euro, with an increase of 12.5% compared to 2014.

Romania has attracted new investors, particularly in the business process outsourcing industry, and other companies have had a rapid increase. Romania is perceived, for pertinent reasons, as a safe place to develop your business, due to the highly-skilled workforce with extraordinary technical and language skills. In this context, companies meet their goals and their budgets.

 

Therefore, we are optimistic about the target of 18 million Euro for 2015; we aim to reach the threshold of 20 million Euro. It is an achievable target, there is potential on the market.“ says Christophe Weller, Managing Partner COS.

Bucharest, Cluj and Iasi – the most dynamic cities on the office market

"Bucharest remains the most dynamic city in the country, benefiting from the construction of a significant number of office buildings. In Cluj, due to new business centers inaugurated in recent years, such as The Office, Liberty Business Center and the new Iulius Centre, the activity has been more intense than ever. A second wave is expected later this year and in the beginning of next year, with additional deliveries of class A office buildings.

 

Timisoara was more quiet in terms of the real estate sector. On the other hand, we expect Iasi to keep taking a more and more active role in real estate developments. We expect furniture needs to increase substancially thanks to the availability of new office buildings and expansion plans of major companies in Iasi area." says Christophe Weller, Managing Partner COS.
