Meanwhile, the former Chief Architect of Bucharest, Gheorghe Pătraşcu, has retired after turning 65.

Adrian Bold was the Chief Architect of Bucharest until 2008, when he was removed from his position by the former General Mayor Sorin Oprescu.

Bucharest City Hall and the General Mayor should have put him back to the position following a final decision of the Court from December 2010.

Most probably Adrian Bold will occupy the position until the local elections in June.
