"Nearly 40% of the retailers interested in CEE are analyzing the market in Romania. Among them, 50 are new retailers, coming mostly from France, Spain, Italy, Germany and Turkey. Moreover, our country is also targeted by significant part of the developers present at MAPIC -  approximately 30% of the companies targeting CEE showed specific interest in our country", has declared Liana Dumitru, associate director within retail department of Colliers International Romania.

While Great Britain is the most attractive destination for investors in Europe, with 33% share of the capital attracted in 2Q and 3Q, the top in CEE is dominated by Russia and Poland, with 6% and respectively 5%  European investment volume.

The retail investment volume in Europe reached 16.2 billion dollars in the last six months, with 14% average increase compared to last year. The most significant growth of the investment volume was registered in CEE, 50%. (source: economica.net)
