"On structure elements, the new constructions works registered a decrease of 10.3%. Growth was registered for capital repairs (+29.3%) and for current repairs and maintenance works (+16.5%). On construction objects, the volume of the construction works has decreased for engineering constructions with 2.1% and for non-residential buildings with 1.8%. The residential buildings registered 13.1% growth", shows a release of the National Institute for Statistics.

In August, the construction works have increased compared to the previous month with 1.4% as unadjusted series and decreased with 1% as adjusted series. Compared to August 2012 the indicators are 7.7% higher and 5.6% higher respectively. (source: economica.net)
