New Huawei center in Romania after political situation stabilizes

Chinese telecommunications equipment producer Huawei plans to open a new global support center in Romania, most probably in Timisoara, but the project is currently on hold until the political situation in the country stabilizes, according to the company’s representatives.

Construction works pick up pace in September

In September 2015, the volume of construction works increased over the previous month, both as gross series (13.7 percent) and as adjusted series (0.7 percent), show data released by the National Institute for Statistics. In August the volume of construction works had shown a smaller rise in gross series, of 5.2 percent, while adjusted series decreased by 0.4 percent.

Inflation stays negative but climbs 0.1 pct in October

Consumer prices went up by 0.28 percent in October over the previous month, while the annual inflation rate reached -1.6 percent, according to data from the National Institute for Statistics (INS). Though inflation stayed negative in October, it climbed 0.1 percent from September’s value.
