Local Council greenlights EUR 0.5 bln large-scale urban reconversion project in Cluj-Napoca

The Zonal Urban Plan for the conversion of the former Carbochim industrial platform and the restructuring of the 1 Mai Square area was recently approved by the Cluj-Napoca Local Council. The investment of the IULIUS & Atterbury Europe companies, estimated at over half a billion euros, represents an effort to capitalize on an industrial area and transform it into a pole of urban attractiveness with multiple functions - the largest retail area in Romania (120,000 rentable square meters) , office, culture and new entertainment concepts – , whose anchor will be a large urban garden with access to the Someș river.

The Romanian real estate investment market could reach the 1 billion euro threshold again this year

The first half of 2024 ended with real estate transactions totaling 419 million euros in Romania, which represents a two and a half times increase compared to the volume of the same period last year, according to the Colliers report on the evolution of the real estate market in the first semester of this year. The outlook remains favorable, and with a significant volume of ongoing transactions, including some recent ones where owners want quick completion, reaching the €1 billion mark in 2024 seems an achievable goal, Colliers consultants say.

One United Properties proposes share consolidation at a 50:1 ratio

One United Properties (BVB: ONE), Romania's leading green developer of residential, mixed-use, and office real estate, announces that its Board of Directors has approved a proposal to consolidate the number of the company's shares. The consolidation will be carried out at a ratio of 50 shares to 1. This proposal, aimed at reducing the number of shares, decreasing share price volatility, and contributing to long-term shareholder value, will be voted on by the company's shareholders at the upcoming General Meeting of Shareholders, to be held on October 10th, 2024.

Sports HUB to set headquarters to YUNITY Park office project

Sports HUB, a non-governmental association specializing in the development of programs and events dedicated to sport and education, is establishing its headquarters in YUNITY Park, the office campus owned by Genesis Property, one of the most prominent office building owners in Romania. Sports HUB, the initiator of the GO Scholarship program, will occupy 770 square meters in building G of YUNITY Park, where a new innovation center will be inaugurated following a total investment of over 50 million euros in the campus.

One United Properties posts a consolidated turnover of 140.6 million euros and a gross profit of 53.2 million euros in the first six months of 2024

One United Properties (BVB: ONE), Romania’s leading green developer of residential, mixed-use, and office real estate, recorded a 10% increase in the profitability of the company’s key segments, which comprise the net income from residential properties and net rental income, while consolidated revenues reached EUR 140.6 million in the first half of 2024. Gross profit stood at EUR 53.2 million, while net profit reached EUR 46 million.
