Real estate consultants expect surprise transactions on office and retail markets in 2017

Romania will still be a success story in real estate in 2017, as 2017 is expected to bring interesting volumes and nice surprises concerning the active investors, with focus on offices and retail, new names being expected to show on the local market, according to real estate consultants.

2016, year of growth on the office market: three times more office buildings deliveries in Bucharest , transactions 20pct up

2016 was a good year for the office rentals market. Following five years with office deliveries at lower level of maximum 125,000 sqm, registering in 2015 a minimum low of the last ten years – 85,000 sqm, 2016 registered three times increase of the new spaces offer, with 280,000 sqm.

Romania recorded 703,500 real estate transactions in January-September 2016

Over 703,500 real estate transactions were recorded at national level January-September 2016, 56,000 more than in the same period of 2015, with most of them being conducted in Bucharest, Ilfov and Timis, reveal data released on Monday by the National Agency for Cadastre and Real Estate Advertising (ANCPI).
