Genpact leases remaining 3,000 sqm in United Business Center Tower

United Business Center Tower, developed by Iulius Group in Cluj-Napoca, has reached a level of occupancy of 100 percent after Genpact announced it leased the remaining 3,000 square meters in the office building developed by Iulian Dascalu’s company.

French group Sanofi to move its Romanian headquarters to Skanska’s Green Court office complex

French group Sanofi, one of the largest pharmaceutical groups on the Romanian market, will move its local headquarters to the Green Court office complex developed by Swedish group Skanska.

Rented offices reached 132,000 sq. m in H1, 27 pct. growth compared to 2013

The office area transacted in Bucharest in H1 2014 totalized 132,000 sq. m, with 27 pct. growth compared to the similar period of last year, most of the transactions being completed for existing buildings, respectively 40 pct of the total.

Hochland relocate its Bucharest office to Magheru One

German group Hochland, with a turnover exceeding EUR 49 million on the local market last year, rented 470 sq. m within the office building Maghe­ru One downtown Bucharest, where it will relocate its sales, marketing and supply chain departments which are currently hosted by a building in Floreasca area.

Arval, Venchi and BNP Paribas Cardif among Ethos House tenants

Ethos House, the office project developed by Gktosis Anstasios in Bucharest, will be completed on October 1st, the developer has announced. The 8,000 square meter office building located on Calea Floreasca represents a EUR 7 million investment with Arval, BNP Paribas Cardif and Venchi among the first announced tenants.

Bucharest’s largest office transactions in H1 2014

The mobile phone operators Voda­fone and Orange were the protagonists of the most important transactions on the office market in the first semester, signing leases for spaces situated within two office buildings in construction in Barbu Văcărescu – Floreasca area, where they will relocate approx. 3,000 employees.

French group Renault, which controls the Dacia factory from Mioveni and has developed a technology centre in Titu, is looking for a new office to accommodate its nearly 2,000 employees in Bucharest, who are currently divided between the North Gate building in Pipera and West Gate park in Militari.

GfK expands and brings 400 jobs in Iaşi in a regional centre

The research and market studies company GfK Romania, which has reached last year a turnover of EUR 19.2 million and 241 employees, expands its office in Iaşi to a regional centre where 400 people are to be recruited.
