Romania’s constructions sector down in October by 0.1 pct

The constructions works registered a drop in October by 0.1 percent compared with the same month of 2015, because of the decline in infrastructure works, while the residential constructions works went up significantly, according to the data published by the National Institute of Statistics (INS).

Romania, second largest construction works increase in EU

Romania is placed on the second place in EU regarding the increase of the construction works in May 2016, compared to the same month of the last year, up by 7.5 percent, being surpassed only by Sweden, with 14.4 percent, according to the data presented on Tuesday by the European Statistical Office (Eurostat).
