Real estate investor Hili Properties to buy Baneasa Real Estate, the owner of the MIRO office building

Deloitte Romania assisted Hili Properties, the strategic real estate investment subsidiary of the Maltese group Hili Ventures, in the acquisition of 75% of Baneasa Real Estate’s shares, the owner of the MIRO office building in Bucharest, from the real estate developer Speedwell. MIRO is a class A mixed-use building of 24,700 square meters located on DN1. The transaction was signed in August 2022.

SPEEDWELL signs a lease agreement with HiSky for 350 sqm office space at MIRO

SPEEDWELL welcomes HiSky as a new tenant in MIRO offices, in Baneasa, Bucharest. The two companies have signed a lease agreement for a total of 350 sqm of A class office space. After the most recently signed lease, MIRO has reached an occupancy rate of 87%. Only 3000 sqm are still available for rent, located on the fourth floor of the building.

Swiss Coffee, a new tenant at MIRO offices

SPEEDWELL signed a lease agreement with Swiss Coffee, the official importer of JURA for Romania welcoming yet another strong international brand in the MIRO office building, in Baneasa, Bucharest. Swiss Coffee will occupy a total of 170 sqm, a space that will be covering showroom, office and service centre functions, exclusively for the Swiss brand JURA.

Speedwell to sell its Miro office building in Bucharest

Real estate developer Speedwell, founded by Belgian entrepreneurs Jan Demeyere and Didier Balcaen, has put up for sale the Miro office building in northern Bucharest. The value of the transaction is intended at more than EUR 60 million.

CEGEKA is the new tenant at MIRO Offices

Speedwell and CEGEKA continue their collaboration by welcoming the IT&C company as a new tenant at MIRO, the A-class office project developed in Bucharest. The two companies have signed an agreement for a 1.600 sqm lease, taking MIRO to an 85% occupancy rate. CEGEKA has also contributed to Speedwell’s office buildings’ digitalization by collaborating on creating innovative solutions.

The MIRO office building, developed by Speedwell, obtains highest level of WELL Building Standard in Romania

Speedwell, one of the most dynamic developers on the Romanian market, joined hands with BuildGreen and obtained the WELL v2 certification for MIRO, the class A office project developed by the Belgian company in the northern part of Bucharest. This is the highest level of WELL certification obtained to date in Romania, as well as the first project certified under the new, stricter version of this methodology.
