SPEEDWELL announces signing a lease agreement with HiSky, the air travel operator, welcoming yet another international brand to the MIRO office building.
HiSky is an airline startup founded in 2020 by a team of Moldavian entrepreneurs. The company is now one of the main charter flights providers in Romania, working with the most important tour operators. The airline also operates scheduled flights from Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Baia Mare, Satu Mare, Iasi, and Chisinau to 10 destinations in Romania and Europe. Expanding the headquarters in Bucharest is part of the strategy aimed at developing operations in Romania, after the inauguration, in May of this year, of the Bucharest hub. Since one of the main growth directions for the company is to serve the business traffic by creating accessible air connections between the capital city and the main cities in the country, HiSky plans add to its routes portfolio two more domestic destinations and ten other destinations in Europe, starting this winter season, and will expand its presence in Romania with a move to MIRO, the office building developed by SPEEDWELL.
Conveniently located in proximity of the Baneasa and Otopeni airports, MIRO is the perfect fit for HiSky, offering a direct connection to their main points of interest.
“Whenever we are searching for new land plots for our projects, location is one of the main criteria we are looking at. The same principle was applied to MIRO. The moment we have found this new land plot, it was clear to us that we were going to build an office building here and we knew that its location is going to be one of the many benefits MIRO will offer to its tenants. We are happy HiSky chose our project as their headquarters in Bucharest and are looking forward to seeing their business grow.” – states Didier Balcaen, CEO and Co-Founder SPEEDWELL
MIRO already has an extensive list of reputable companies as tenants, such as KPMG, ROVERE, COS, EATON, NEOCLINIQUE, SPEEDWELL, MITZU, STRADALE and JURA. HiSky is the newest name joining them and almost completing the picture.
This leaves MIRO with only 3000 sqm available to rent, out of the total surface of 23,000 sqm.
The building offers to its tenants and employees A-class office spaces, with 4,500 sqm floor plates and parking places managed through a smart system. The project’s location, right on DN1, in the Baneasa area of Bucharest, benefits from easy access to the northern side, the city centre and the airport. The BREEAM Excellent and WELL certifications add a healthy environment and a concept based on sustainability to the extensive list of benefits.
