RIB will get over a rebranding process in order to become Idea Bank. The bank will relocate its headquarters, as well as the debt recovery division GetBACK Recovery SRL, to Hermes Business Campus, a project developed by the Belgium company Atenor, on two floors. The 5th and 6th floors of the building will accommodate over 300 people.

The final choice of the building comes after a deep study of the market, considering the company’s needs to relocate from its own building to a rented one.

Hermes Business Campus complex has completed the first building with 18.000 sq. m rentable area from the total three buildings scheduled. The entire project will include 70,000 sq. m rentable area, the investment required for the development exceeding EUR 150 million.

Even if Atenor didn’t disclose the value of the investment for the first building, it is estimated to have reached approx. EUR 25 million, considering that the foundation costs were EUR 5 million and the contract with the general contractor Alpine was signed for approx. EUR 15 million, according to the information disclosed by the two constructors. After Alpine went bankrupt, its place was taken by the Greek constructor Octagon, which took care of the foundation.

„An important financial player which decides to establish its first office in Romania in the area of Dimitrie Pompeiu shows that the local perception of the Pipera zone proves, one more time, subjective. The reality shows, without any doubt, that an underground station together with a solid package of attractive incentives and a creative structure for the tenant’s needs could transform an office building into a success story”, considers Andreea Păun, Associate Director within the Office Agency team of Colliers International.

According to the annual market report published by Colliers International Romania, Pipera zone and mostly Dimitrie Pompeiu Blvd. are on the first position of the top favourite areas of the tenants in Bucharest, attracting most of the transactions singed in 2013.

Moreover, a deep analyze of the contracts subject to renegotiations during the last year shows that Dimitrie Pompeiu is one of the most “friendly” areas, with 40 pct shares in the total of the renewals in 2013, followed by Piața Presei (15 pct) and Pipera (12 pct). (source: capital.ro)
