The second half of 2013 established “AFI Park” as the new hub in Bucharest for multinational IT companies upon achieving 100% occupancy in “AFI Park 1”, concluding the signing of the lease agreement with Electronic Arts (developer of FIFA video games) for 100% of the office space in “AFI Park 2” (11,700 sqm) and the signing of a prelease agreement with Endava (UK held IT company) for 5,000 sqm in “AFI Park 3”.
AFI Park manages to answer the expanding requirements of IT&C companies in Romania by offering the suitable space in terms of technical specifications and expansion needs within the expected timeframe, thus enjoying an exceptional high demand for the project, consequently positioning the office complex as the major IT&C Hub. “AFI Park has a series of advantages for us, such as location, accessibility, parking, services provided by the adjacent AFI Palace Cotroceni shopping mall, proximity to the university and possibilities for further expansion in the same office complex, all which made it the right decision for us to continue and expand in the Park”, declared Radu Grosu, Director for Endava’s unit in Bucharest.
AFI Park 2, which has been leased to Electronic Arts, has been specially designed according to EA’s particular technical specification requirements, which included very high and specific demands in terms of Electricity, HVAC, increased Generator and Security in order to operate its development Data Centres.
The fact that Electronic Arts, one of the leading companies in the world, has chosen to relocate and expand in AFI Park is a proof of the Park’s capability to provide high quality office space, adapted to serve any particular requirements by IT companies, including energy saving buildings, maximizing tenants’ welfare, high efficiency floor plate accompanied with high quality finishes.
