The development belongs to the company Parcuri Industriale Bihor, controlled by Bihor county local council. The new Science and Technology Park Bihor MedTech, will be completed in two years, creating at minimum 500 new working places.
 
The local council in Bihor owns a plot of land of more than 48,000 square metres situated in the vicinity of the Oradea University, on University St., where a multifunctional building will be developed, Bihor MedTech Innovation & Business Center. 
The building will include 7,000 square metres of A class offices, a conference centre for 500 persons, Bihor MedTech Conference Center, 1,000 square metres of serviced offices, as well as a prototype centre, FabLab, a data centre and an integrated cloud platform.
The investment in the building’s construction is estimated at EUR 5.6 million.
 
„MedTech park intends to host education and research activities, technology transfer of research results and their capitalization through economic activities.
