Representatives of the German company Bosch have put the foundation stone on Monday for the new headquarters of the Cluj-Napoca Engineering Center, a six-story building to be completed in 2019.
The new building of the research and development center will be about 17,000 square meters offering the employees inspirational workplaces as well as restaurants, recreation areas, a sports room and underground car parks. About 500 employees will work in this center.

"Bosch has expanded its research and development activities in Romania over the past five years, so it has been decided to build its own building to host the Engineering Center in Cluj-Napoca. This confirms once again Bosch's commitment to developing solutions and technologies for the future in Romania, with local experts in the spirit of our vision - more secure, more energy efficient, more economical", said the group General Manager in Romania, Mihai Boldijar.
