How and when you decided to start this business in Romania?
Brisk Group has been always a dream of ours. Having a wealth of international experience in delivering projects in the international arena from the role of project manager and project director, it was natural for me to move into the entrepreneurial arena and bring this wealth of experience into our own organization and into the Romanian Market. Thus far it has been a thrilling journey building up the business and together with a fantastic team we have managed to build an excellent portfolio of projects and a well recognizable brand in the construction industry in Romania.

We are working close with an array of great clients, very well know organizations and developers both in the Romanian Market and Internationally.
What is your opinion on the construction market in Romania?
Great time to be involved in! We strongly believe in the market, the organisations and the people involved in this effervescent market. We find it dynamic, charged with euphoria and enthusiasm and perpetual maturing.
What are the most important aspects to be considered by a developer when starting an office project?
Location! Location! Location! Getting the brief right, budget, timeframe for delivery and end client specifics, profile requirements. Design definition and robustness, getting on board the right consultants team and subsequently contractor(s) is very important.
How important is sustainability nowadays?
We are strong supporters of sustainable projects, being involved in a number of office and residential sustainable projects. We are delivering BREEAM, LEED and Green Homes compliant and certified projects. Green / sustainable projects represent the present and the future in the construction industry.
What are the current trends in construction management? Are they applying in Romania, too?
Construction Management is a more flexible way of implementing a project in a more cost effective way for the client, if the right consultant (project and cost management) team has been appointed. This involves taking on board a number of risks as a client organization, which can be managed with the right approach by the appointed consultant, by procuring and managing a number of packages and separate contracts opposite to one single contract in the case of a Main Contractor. It also gives more flexibility to the client organization in delivering the project.
More project are being managed this way both internationally and on locally in Romania.
What are your plans for the future business in Romania?
To grow sustainable as a business, to be involved in exciting and challenging projects by continually adding value to our clients. We are keen to drive innovation into the projects we are involved in, as an organization we always strive to be one step ahead for our clients.
