Afi Europe received LEED Platinum pre-certification for the Afi Tech Park 2 office building

AFI Tech Park 2, the second phase of the AFI Tech Park office development built up by AFI Europe Romania near the Palace of Parliament, has received LEED Platinum precertification, after successfully completing the GBCI review of early design stage documentation. The extensive certification process is coordinated by the Green & Healthy Buildings Certifications Division of Colliers Romania.

Equilibrium 2, the first office building in Romania to obtain RoGBC - Net Zero Carbon Buildings preliminary certification

Equilibrium 2, the second phase of the Equilibrium project developed by Skanska in the Barbu Văcărescu - Floreasca area, obtains the preliminary Net Zero Carbon Buildings certification, granted by the Romania Green Building Council. Thus, Equilibrium 2 becomes the first office building in Romania to obtain the new certification.

88 percent of the investment deals in office segment in Romania involve green office

Accounting for 70% of green certified buildings and 85% of offices occupied in certified space, the stock of green qualified offices is comparatively higher in Romania than anywhere else in Europe. In addition, 88% of investment transactions in the office segment in Romania involve buildings with green certifications, according to CBRE Romania. This makes the office sector the most representative when it comes to buildings with sustainability standards, followed by logistics and retail.

Recycling group Green Group to move its office in Bucharest to the sustainable One Tower building in Floreasca

One United Properties (BVB: ONE), the leading green developer of residential, mixed-use, and office real estate in Romania, announces that Green Group recycling group, which includes eight companies operating in the recycling and waste management market in Romania and Eastern Europe, will relocate its office in Bucharest to the class A One Tower building, part of One Floreasca City multifunctional development, starting with July this year.

Campus 6.2, the second phase of the Campus 6 project developed by Skanska in the Iuliu Maniu area, achieves the WELL Core & Shell certification at a Gold level. The project thus becomes the second office building in Romania to hold all three prestigious WELL C&S Gold, LEED Platinum, and WELL Health-Safety Rating certifications, after Campus 6.3 has obtained the same certification at the end of last year.
