Phoenicia Hotels & Resorts Group is one of the biggest Romanian hotel chains and is a Romanian brand. Phoenicia Hotels & Resort targets both the business and leisure tourism and has seen a strong boost in recent years; at this point in time it offers more that 6.000 accommodation opportunities in Bucharest and on the Black Sea Coast. The business segment is represented in Bucharest by three four-star hotels and three apart-hotels: Phoenicia Grand Hotel **** situated in Baneasa area, Phoenicia Express**** and Phoenicia Comfort ****, both in Otopeni area; from among the apart-hotels two are situated in Baneasa area, Phoenicia Apartments and Phoenicia Residential Apartments, and one is in the city centre of Bucharest - Phoenicia Apartments Unirii. As regards the leisure tourism the Phoenicia Hotels&Resorts Group boasts the opening in 2010 of the largest holiday centre in Romania, Phoenicia Holiday Resort, in the North of Mamaia Resort. The latter adds up to the already existing four hotels of the Phoenicia Group on the Black Sea Coast: Hotel Majestic Mamaia***, Hotel Perla Mamaia ***, Hotel Majestic Jupiter *** and Hotel Majestic Olimp***.
