Xerox consolidates its operations in Iaşi through the development of a business centre on five levels, where 450 employees are working. The company is present in the office component of the Palas complex since December 2013, when the company rented 1,000 sq. m in the same office building.
Xerox has over 2,000 employees in Romania, with 1,750 persons in Iași, including the 450 employees working in the UBC 3 building in Palas.
"We intend to expand our presence in the building within Palas through 60 full time working places, in various fields", has declared Florentina Vasiliu, HR manager of Xerox Romania & Albania.
With its headquarters in Norwalk, SUA, Xerox has over 140,000 employees, assisting clients from more than 180 countries. Xerox offers business services, printing equipments and software and hardware technologies for the information management – from data to documents.
Iulius Group owns a retail network with four shopping malls and the urban multifunctional complex Palas Iaşi.
On the office segment, the company owns countrywide over 55,000 sq. m A class offices and another 15,000 sq. m in development.
The Palas Iaşi complex include four A class office buildings under the brand United Business Center, able area of 38,000 sq. m. Currently, works are being done for the UBC 5 building, which will have a rentable area of 15,000 sq. m. The construction works are complying with the principles of the green buildings and are scheduled for completion in the end of this year.
The office portfolio if the company also includes two A class office buildings developed in Cluj-Napoca, in the vicinity of Iulius Mall: Iulius Business Center (7,500 sq.m) and United Business Center Tower (10,000 sq.m), both fully let. (source: dailybusiness.ro)
