Vivo Food Bar from AFI Park is the third restaurant of the network after the one opened in 2014 in Iasi, across the street from the Palas office complex and the one in Bucharest, opened three years ago in Calea Floreasca area, on the ground floor of an office building.
"Personal services, especially food and fitness, have an increasing share in office projects and we estimate that this trend will increase over the next three years as the large announced office centres will be delivered.
The first such initiatives, the rental of operating spaces for services addressing corporate employees within the office buildings, took place in the North-Centre zone of the Capital, within large projects in Pipera, Barbu-Vacarescu and Floreasca, where our partner VIVO Food Bar also started with its first restaurant in Bucharest.
Now this concept has been embraced by developers in all major office projects inaugurated, such as those in the Centre-West area, Orhideea-Cotroceni-Politehnica-Vladimirescu or the Central-East-Unirii-Timpuri Noi zone.
We expect each large office building with an area excededing 20,000 square meters to have on-site services and more and more tenants to consider when choosing a new headquarters the services that employees find at work”, says Alexandru Petrescu, Managing Partner at ESOP Consulting and CORFAC International, the broker of the transaction.
AFI Park is a complex of five A Class office buildings with a total rental area of 71,000 sqm, built next to AFI mall in Bucharest. The last phase, AFI Park 4 & 5, was delivered last year and has 48,000 sqm total built area and 32,000 m² of leasable area.
AFI Park Offices are LEED Gold certified in the green rating system with high quality standards and have a good position within the city, having access to different public transport and being in the vicinity of the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, there where is the largest pool of future employees with technical studies in Romania.
