‘The total number of unemployment recorded in the registers of county agencies for employment at the end of October was 463,629 people, with 1,807 more people than the end of the previous month. As regards the rate of unemployment recorded per sexes, as compared to the previous month, the rate of male unemployment went up from 5.44 percent to 5.49 percent and the rate of female unemployment dropped from 5.72 percent to 5.71 percent’ says a press release of the National Agency for Employment – ANOFM.
Most unemployed of the October ones belong to the group 40 – 49 years old (121,861 people). Another 97.429 unemployed belong to the group 30 – 39, 83,040 are under 25, 66,015 – over 55, 58,442 between 50 and 55 and 36.842 between 25 and 29.
When referring to the structure of unemployment according to level of instruction, the unemployed without studies and those with primary, secondary and vocational level of instruction have the highest share in the total of unemployed in the registers of the county agencies for employment (73,26 percent).
The highest levels of the rate of unemployment were recorded in Vaslui (10,86 %), Teleorman (10,43 %), Mehedinti (10,03 %), Buzau (9,41 %), Galati (8,99 %), Dolj (8,90 %), Olt (7,93 %), Dâmbovita (7,61 %), Calarasi (7,30 %) and Gorj (7,26 %).
Out of the total of recorded unemployed, 126,921 were unemployed with allowance and 336,708 without allowance. The number of unemployed with allowance decreased by 1,274 people and the number of unemployed without allowance increased by 3,081 people against the previous month. (sursa: actmedia.eu)
