The number of employees in Bucharest increased by about 40,000 in the second half of last year, according to data from the National Institute of Statistics, about 10,000 people being recruited among companies with headquarters in modern office buildings.

Considering of the office projects to be delivered this year as well as the recruitment plans announced by companies present on the local market, the number of employees in modern office buildings in Bucharest could rise to 280,000 people up by the end of this year.

Approximately 65,000 people work in office buildings in the Pipera area, about 55,000 in the Centre-North area, and around 38,000 in the West, the three areas gathering 63% of the employees of the modern office buildings in Bucharest. (source: agerpres.ro)
