The new headquarters of the Embassy will occupy 700 sq. m in Hermes Business Campus, project situated on Dimitrie Pompeiu Blvd. in Bucharest.
Dutch Embassy will relocate to the project’s first phase, a building on 18,000 sq. m rentable area, to be delivered by mid-2014.
The relocation was brokered by The Advisers/Knight Frank in partnership with Management Services BLISS/BLISS Imobiliare, represented by Isfahan Doekhie.
The office and retail complex will be developed on approx, 78,000 sq. m in the new business district. The Romanian company NGY, fully owned by Atenor Group, has obtained in January 2010 the construction permit for the three phases of the project. At their completion, the buildings will receive the green certificate BREEAM Excellent for minimum costs operations (LED illumination, solar panels, rain water use).
„The embassies and the diplomatic services are a special client profile, with specific needs, which occupied until recently historic villas; but the trend on the office market is to migrate towards last generation buildings. Such a project, with superior technical features and high standards is Hermes Business Campus, situated in the business area Dimitrie Pompeiu, submarket where the vacancy rate has dropped from 11% in 2012 to 5% in the first half of 2013”, has declared Mihai Paduroiu, Senior Consultant Office Division The Advisers / Knight Frank.
The real estate developer Atenor Group owns a diversified projects portfolio, on approx. 500,000 sq. m and focuses its activity in Belgium, Luxembourg and Hungary. Hermes Business Campus is the first project of the developer in Romania. (source: dailybusiness.ro)
