The first logistic park in North-Eastern Romania, inaugurated on Thursday
The first logistic park in North-Eastern Romania was inaugurated on Thursday in Letcani village, in the district of Iasi.
The logistic park is a project selected in the Operational Regional Program 2007-2913, and its initiator and developer is the company Solo SRL.
The goal of the logistic park is the realization of a structure that will help the business and stimulate a sustainable local economic growth, contributing at the accomplishment of the Program’s goal – the development of all the regions in Romania.
The construction of the park began in February, while the official opening is planned for spring 2014. The project is situated at the entry of Iasi city, in the close proximity of the European road E85, of the ring road as well of the future highway Iasi-Targu Mures. The logistic park has a complex structure including areas for warehouse/light production, including annexes (total area of 9,364 sqm) and office spaces, including annexes (1,845 sqm area), the prices being lower than the market, according to the small and medium companies price policy.
The implementation period of the project is 16 months. The total value is 26.3 million lei, from which 14 million lei represents the non-returnable value of the EU and national budget financing. (source: dailybusiness.ro)
