The new facility is located in Prologis Park Wroclaw V, adjacent to Wroclaw’s ring road and close to major transportation routes via the Wrocław Bielany junction. Set on 70 hectares, the park will total more than 290,000 square metres of Class-A logistics space. Upon completion, Prologis will submit the building for BREEAM certification.
The facility is the fourth build-to-suit in less than two years, following deals with Tradis, UPM Raflatec and a wholesale and retail electronic equipment supplier.
“Supply chain consolidation and a rapidly growing consumer class continue to drive demand for logistics infrastructure in Central Europe,” said Ben Bannatyne, managing director, Prologis Central & Eastern Europe. “We are therefore targeting FMCG, retail and e-commerce customers as part of our regional growth strategy, and this latest transaction demonstrates the success of this approach.”
