Medicover, one of the biggest operators of private medical services opened a clinic on 250 sq. m rentable area in H5 building of West Gate office park, situated in Western Bucharest, in the close proximity of Preciziei metro station.
“In West Gate office park are working approx. 8,000 employees of the tenant companies, with almost 2,000 students living in the private campus West Gate Studios. Overall we are talking about approx. 10,000 persons, to whom we try to offer a full range of services”, has declared Stefan Tudos, Leasing Manager within Genesis Development, the developer of the West Gate project.
Moreover, LS Travel Retail, the Romanian branch of Lagardère Services, the owner of the networks Inmedio and Relay, has opened in H5 building a store under the brand of 1 Minute, on a rentable area of approx. 100 sq. m, including the dining area.
1 Minute is an international concept of convenience stores, offering food products: from sandwiches to salads, fruits or sweets to coffee and refreshing drink to press, books, tobacco etc.
Following the signing of these new contracts, the H5 building, with a rentable are of 15,000 sq. m has reached an occupancy rate of 75%.
The business park is developed by Genesis Development and includes five office buildings, totalizing a rentable area of approx. 75,000 sq. m.
The first four buildings have obtained BREEAM Very Good certificates, West Gate being the first green office park in Romania. The fifth building, delivered in the first quarter of 2013, will be certificated after one year of functioning, according to BREEAM standards.
Currently, West Gate has 93% occupancy rate, its tenants including Siemens, Dacia Renault, Ericsson, WNS, PPD Romania, Panasonic, Citibank, Alpha Bank, Société Générale and Carestream Health.
