More than half (61.9%) of the building permits were issued for the rural area, according to the National Statistics Institute (INS).
The most significant drops were recorded in the South-East and North-West, South-Muntenia, and Bucharest-Ilfov regions. Only the North-East region recorded increases in the number of building permits. (source: Romania-insider.com)
