The Bucharest-Ilfov region ranks first in terms of new company registrations, with 11,700 new firms, followed by Cluj county, with 3,690 new companies, and Timis, with almost 3,000.
The number of companies that went into insolvency in the first seven months was 6,530, 57% lower than in the similar period of 2014.
Bucharest and Ilfov also lead at this chapter, with 1,215 insolvencies, half compared to last year. Bihor county came second, with 331 insolvencies, and Timis was third, with 323. (source: romania-insider.com)
