The contract refers to diverting the Fifth Metro Route public utility network, lot L1.2 – Romancierilor – Valea Ialomitei metro station, and building a depot and a linking underground passage, according to requirements listed in the tender book, the Metrorex announcement shows.

The project was adjudicated on November 20 through negotiations without a participation notice. In March 2011, Metrorex concluded a RON 231.6 million construction contract, VAT non-included, with Max Bogl for Valea Ialomitei metro station and depot, part of the Fifth Metro Route.
