Compared to 2008, the land prices have dropped significantly in most cities in Romania. The biggest decrease was registered in Iasi, where the lands got cheaper with 79% in the period 2008-2013, shows a study of the evaluation company Darian.

More than 70% decreases were also registered in Bacău (-71%), Baia Mare (-73%), Constanţa (-74%), Reşiţa (-74%) and Râmnicu Vâlcea (-76%).

The lowest decrease, under 50% were registered in Miercurea Ciuc (-31%), Galaţi (-42%), Buzău (-46%) and Bistriţa (-46%).

In the last year, only the prices of the lands in Mircurea Ciuc, Galaţi and Craiova remained unchanged.

Biggest decrease in the last year was registered in Râmnicu Vâlcea (-12%), Ploieşti (-11%) and Alba Iulia (-8%).
