The new store was developed on the former industrial platform Electroaparataj, in the neighbourhood of the National Arena. The store situated on 3-5 Pierre de Coubertin St. is the sixth in Bucharest, following the hypermarkets in Şoseaua Colentina, Barbu Văcărescu, Sebastian, Răcari and Valea Cascadelor.
The Kaufland stores have up to 20,000 items for sale, the unit in Pantelimon has over 4,500 sq. m and a commercial gallery on approx. 250 sq. m.
The company plans 10 stores network in Bucharest and have opened this year 7 hypermarkets in Bucharest and other big cities such as Ploieşti and Galaţi. (source: economica.net)
