Thus, the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) estimated for the period January-September 2013 stood at 466.143 billion lei current prices, increasing 2.6 percent in real terms from the similar period of 2012. Compared with the first provisional estimation, the GDP was revised down by 957.5 million lei.
The Gross Domestic Product in the third quarter of 2013 - the second provisional estimation - in real terms was 1.6 percent higher compared with the second quarter of 2013 (seasonally adjusted data).
Compared with the same quarter of 2012, the GDP registered a 4.1 percent increase on the gross series and 4 percent on the seasonally adjusted series. In the first provisional estimation, the GDP advance was 4.1 percent on the seasonally adjusted series, also.
The Gross Domestic Product - as seasonally adjusted series - estimated for the third quarter of 2013 stood at 157.32 billion lei current prices, increasing, in real terms, 1.6 percent from the second quarter of 2013 and by 4 percent from the third quarter of 2012.
On gross series, the GDP estimated for the third quarter of 2013 amounted to 174.451 billion lei current prices, growing in real terms 4.1 percent from the third quarter of 2012.
