The construction of the project will take approximately 21 months, the completion of the works being scheduled for the spring of 2019. ING will occupy the Building 3 of the office park, of 20,000 square meters, approximately 50% of the total leasable area of the future business park.

The other two buildings of the business center are 8,000 sq m and 14,000 sq m respectively. The project will be delivered in one phase, and the three buildings will be surrounded by green spaces, restaurants and cafes. Blue Rose Office Park, developed in the Expoziztiei area, is in the vicinity of 1 Mai metro station.

"ING's team has grown steadily in recent years, leading to a different organizational approach by implementing an Agile work methodology. This translates into increased team flexibility, a dynamic environment that supports creativity and efficiency in the workspace. The Blue Rose project has also met one of the most important criteria we have followed during the selection, being one of the greenest buildings in Bucharest”, said Maria Cristina Matei, COO ING Romania.
CBRE Romania represented ING in the process of relocation of activity at the local level.

"We are extremely honored that ING Bank entrusted us with the development of the future headquarters for the company's Romanian activities. The design and building specifications will, as with all our projects, be at the highest level of performance and will fully meet the expectations and needs of ING. Building 3, part of this modern and efficient project, will have an ING banking unit on the ground floor and will be structured on 8 floors, the top levels having terraces with panoramic views", said Robert Neale, Managing Director of Portland Trust.

Portland Trust has obtained the Blue Rose Office Park construction permit and construction works have already begun. Bog'Art, one of the largest construction companies in Romania, has been named general contractor for the new project.

Blue Rose Office Park will be the first project to be delivered to the Expozitiei area more than seven years after the inauguration of Unicredit Bank headquarters and is a first step for the development of the new office building sub-market in the Piata Presei-Expozitiei area. (source: zf.ro)
