The financing request was submitted by Millenium Consult Invest 2002, 45% controlled by Impact Contractor&Developer. The contract was signed on 27th of March, according to a company release to the Bucharest Stock Exchange. Impact has announced in 2010 its intention to build a B class office building, designed for small and medium companies, for whose financing the company would access structural funds. Impact intention was to bring half of the investment from EU funds. The project was named Business Support Center Greenfield 2, and the construction works were initially scheduled for September 2010. "The office building will have 8,000 sqm and already has the construction permit. The financing from the EU will cover a half from the total investment.”, declared to Mediafax Stefan Gheorghiu, managing director of the company. Meanwhile, the shareholders of the real estate developer have rejected the phase two of the residential complex Greenfield, which aimed the construction of 25,000 sqm of multi-family residences, a recreation area and a 38,000 sqm park. Impact, a company founded by the businessman Dan Ioan Popp, has currently developed approx. 2,000 residences on the local market, the biggest project of the company being the residential complex Greenfield from Baneasa area, where the company developed approx. 750 apartments and where the company owns a land for another 3,000-4,000 units The businessman Gheorghe Iaciu, the owner of Doraly commercial centre and the biggest shareholder of SIF Muntenia (SIF4), became the most important shareholder of Impact, after buying last week 23.22% of the company shares, for EUR 1.4 million.
