Petry, 47, is presently general manager aggregates at Holcim France. He has held this position since 2008 when he joined the group. He previously worked for a constructions company for nine years and for another eight years prior to that he was general manager in the waste industry. Petry holds a degree in engineering from the Ecole Nationale Superieure d’Arts et Metiers, ParisTech, as well as an executive MBA from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales de Paris (HEC).

Bach, 50, has served as CEO of Holcim Romania for the past three years. In his new position, he will be responsible for Holcim’s subsidiaries in Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia and Singapore.

Holcim Romania reported a EUR 8.5 million loss and a EUR 213 turnover in 2012. Company representatives have previously announced that in 2013 the manufacturer will most likely see sales drop for a second consecutive year, in line with the general drop of the cement market, but it will return to profit at the level similar to the one reported in 2011.
