Foreign direct investment, down 13% year-on-year in Romania
Foreign direct investment totaled EUR 354 million in the first two months of the year, down by 13.4% compared to the ones recorded in the first two months of 2015, according to data from Romania’s National Bank (BNR).
The equity investments amounted to EUR 400 million whereas the intragroup loans reached a negative value of -EUR 46 million.
Last year, the foreign direct investment totaled EUR 3.03 billion, up 25.3% compared to 2014. (source: Romania-insider.com)
